Seniors Helping Seniors in Flagstaff

Over $5,000 Donated to the Coconino Senior Living Foundation

Flagstaff, Ariz. (Jan. 28, 2020) ─ The Peaks, A Senior Living Community and The Peaks Health & Rehabilitation (collectively, The Peaks), believes in helping seniors in need. Many low income seniors living at home struggle to maintain their quality of life due to their financial needs and physical demands.

The Peaks donated over $5,000 in 2019 to support the Coconino Senior Living Foundation. This nonprofit charity has been helping low income seniors since 1988. Monies donated provide medical alerts for those at risk for falls, glasses, reading materials, minor home maintenance, and so much more.

Ruth Trujillo, the founder of the Coconino Senior Living Foundation, leads a group of seniors that have dedicated their time to helping other seniors in need. Ruth believes their dedication has really made a difference in improving the quality of life for low income seniors. The Peaks also a nonprofit, has donated monies and volunteered their time for the last couple of years to help support the Coconino Senior Living Foundation cause.

“Coconino Senior Living Foundation is a wonderful nonprofit charity. We are grateful to have the opportunity to help seniors in our community,” said Leah Veschio, director of business development at The Peaks.
