Below are some testimonials from residents and family members that have made The Peaks, A Senior Living Community their home. We invite you to come and visit our community, talk firsthand with current residents and take a tour!
I have enjoyed my stay here at The Peaks, my home away from home, while I healed from my surgery. By far, this facility stands at a five-star level for courtesy, kindness, understanding, helpfulness, willingness, thoughtfulness, and concern for the residents here.
Thank you to the 24-hour nursing staff, who have patience and professionalism. Thank you to the administrative staff – from my admission to my discharge they have been kind, courteous, understanding, and helped me get everything that I needed. Thank you to the dietary and dining staff for the really good food, including the Easter mutton stew, and for helping me understand my diabetes and my consumption of carbohydrates and for helping me to change my diet. Thank you to the therapy staff, who are awesome! I am more flexible than when I came in here, and if I had a choice I would definitely stay here for another year or take my therapist home with me. Thank you to the dog therapy team!
Thank you, also, to the Life Enrichment staff, for making this place entertaining and alive for everyone, and always being polite and kind. The Pinewood Derby was a great event that brought the youth and the elders together in having fun and put the light back in the elders’ eyes. Thank you to the Maintenance staff for fixing my TV remote upon request, without hesitation, even though they have a huge facility to maintain. Thank you to the housekeepers, for cleaning my room on a daily basis, and for being down-to-earth and easy to communicate with and funny! Thanks to Melody, the Resident Services Liaison, for helping me to write this thank-you letter before I leave here.
I hope this place grows and becomes better known in the public’s eyes for their quality of service. One thing, for sure, is that you have me as a former patient who will always recommend The Peaks as my first choice in the state of Arizona if anyone needs to go to a skilled nursing facility.
Sincerely,
Titus

I have been a resident in skilled care. I was here to recover from surgery on my hand. I was not excited to hear that I was coming here. From the admits, cooks and services, housekeeping, RNs, CNAs, social workers, and too many more to name, are always so kind. I feel without PT and OT, I wouldn’t be recovering like I am. This has been one of the best experiences of my life.

I am a three year independent living resident of The Peaks in Flagstaff, AZ. Due to a truly nasty fall in Buffalo, NY, I fractured my femur. I have been doing my rehab here at The Peaks from mid July through the end of September. It is my grateful pleasure to inform you of the excellent care I have received from the Skilled Nursing staff under the Executive Director.
Everyone from the Executive Director to Department Directors, the health care professionals, the dietary staff, and the cleanup crew were exceptional in addressing my needs. They were professional, caring and considerate. Each treated me with the utmost consideration for my well being.
Someone has done a great job hiring and assembling a remarkable staff!

Who would have ever thought that a 20 day stay in a surgical recovery ward would actually be fun. But hey – the entire staff on hummingbird lane has been simply wonderful. Many of the patients have become friends and I got excellent exposure to cross-cultural living arrangements with the Navajo that I now have great respect for. For all your work and patience and understanding…
THANK YOU!

I want to express my gratitude for taking care of my sister. My sister recently passed away in the memory unit. The staff is so respectful towards not only my sister but to our entire family. On days where we wanted to cry they made us laugh and are so friendly. Dementia is a horrible disease. The staff was so supportive and knowledgeable. Since her passing I still visit The Peaks and the friends we have made. Thank you to everyone for giving us a wonderful place to have my sister during her final days.

Yesterday we held a surprise birthday party in the Bistro for my mother with cupcakes & champagne – so many staff, caregivers and residents came. It was wonderful and it made me realize just how special that place is.
